Born in London in the 50’s, moved to Essex in 1963 and currently residing in Mistley. I've always been inspired to capture and replicate both the image and personality of the subject, be it a pet, a person, wildlife subjects or landscapes.

My style and technique has evolved over many years of observing the habit, gestures and movement of both domestic and wildlife animals and I specialise in creating detailed highly-realistic portraits, attempting to create and capture not only likeness, but also their character and personality on paper.

​I'm a self-taught artist, working in various mediums such as acrylic and oil, but now predominantly working with pastels, where I draw layer upon layer to achieve the high level of detail and depth to my art.
